I have been physically active and focused on fitness my entire life. Walking into the gym reminds me of the comradarie of my competitive swimming days in high school/college; the team atmosphere, friendly competition, and tremendous support that you just don't get from a typical gym. I was lucky enough to discover CrossFit in August of 2006, and I've been hooked ever since my first workout. CrossFit programing has made me a stronger, faster and more confident/balanced person. I love the challenge, the variance, the intensity, and the people I am surrounded by. In the Fall of 2007, I became a Level 1 Certified Trainer. I have also completed my barbell certification. In July of 2007, I competed in the first ever CrossFit Games, and to my surprise I tied for 5th place among the women overall.
I am passionate about fitness and helping others understand what CrossFit can do for them. My greatest reward is seeing my clients succeed and become stronger and more confident in their abilities. I enjoy helping my clients meet and exceed their goals as they push themselves to new levels, breaking physical and mental barriers, setting new goals, and celebrating personal records.
CrossFit has become an amazing part of my life and I love sharing that with others.
Just a quick "Thank You" to some amazing and very committed trainers who have had a huge influence on my training... Eva Twardokens, Hollis Malloy, Robin Boose, Jason Highbarger and Dan Grant (to name a few), you guys are the best. You have all been an inspiration to me and have given selflessly of your training knowledge and shared your passion for fitness - thank you!
