CrossFit
Anyone who is new to CrossFit must first go through initial individualized instruction regardless of their current fitness level. The purpose of these sessions are to introduce the individual to the movements, stimulus and equipment used in CrossFit workouts. The number of individual sessions will be determined by the client’s ability to correctly execute the movements from the Basic Skills chart and by their ability to physically adapt to high intensity workouts. Click here to meet the certified CrossFit Trainers at CrossFit North Santa Cruz. Once you decide which trainer you would like to work with, either email or call them directly to set up your first session.
At the conclusion of the initial individual sessions, clients can decide if they want to remain in one on one sessions with a trainer or participate in scheduled group classes.
If you are interested in semi-private group introductory training, contact Robin Boose to discuss the program and pricing. Semi-private training gives you all the benefits of private sessions combined with the fun and excitement of a group environment with your family/friends.
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)/Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)
CrossFit North Santa Cruz offers three MMA conditioning classes and three BJJ classes per week. Each class is an hour & half in length and focuses on stand up techniques, ground fighting techniques and overall conditioning for fights.
